Good Life

I have been thinking, if you were to put me at some run-down countries or place, I would most likely not survive. Living in the cushy environment like Singapore, where everything is clean and green, even toilets in the hawker centre smell good. I cannot imagine going to climb mountains in Nepal, where u get nothing but a dug hole for all ur urgent need. I remembered last year, i went to Redang with a group of friends, on the day of departure, we had to spend aroung 6 hours at Trengannu. So we booked a small room, in a hostel looking place. The room has 2 bed, but its cramp and there is a musky smell in the room. It has dark and dirty looking curtains, the bedsheets had a funny smell and it looks like a good home for lices. The toilet is located at the other end of the long, dark corridor, the flush is not working, neither are the toilet lights. ... hahah lucky we just dropped our bags and go, i cannot imagine having to spend a night there.. Ok I am pampered, I hate roaches and any kind of insects just freak me out. hahaa.. What to do, I grew up in a clean country.. so it a blessing.. no?

Fairy Tale

I was surfing aimlessly when i stumble upon this article -  "A West Virginia woman discovers she's an African princess". It is very interesting, i must say. The irony part of this "Fairy tales" is that its not all castle and crown for this lady, instead it changes the way she lives. Being the pricess of an African tribe that has been driven to poverty by the rebel is not an easy task. Now her plans is to set up a fund for building of schools. Ever wonder that while we are complaining about the being fat, the weather is too hot, lunching near office is a hassle becos we are sick of the food around us and the central office aircon is cold making us sick. People in some other part of the world are contantly hungry, poor and their lifes are at risk... It a little far to touch those people out there while we are here, but maybe we shld take some time to look at people nearer to us or our community.

Sinus inflamation

Sigh, i got sinus infection, must be due to the hazy weather. I cant breathe properly, having a headache and watery eyes.... This is not good... was on MC ytd, went to see the doc.. need to be on 2 weeks of spray medication... something i hate most... becos tt bitter after-taste will linger in your throat after every spray.... Yikees.. thinking of removing it once and for all, must go back to the doc after 2 weeks, when the swelling subside.. i really dun want to rely on the spray medicine all my life.

Today is my 3rd Anniversary with Yong, see how time flies..Haha .. it all seems to happen like yesterday. Will be going for dinner later... sigh but with my conditions hahah i doubt i will be able to fully enjoy the food. I have been asking myself recently, what is the definition of Xin Fu? Hmm... my ans is.. to have someone that will say you are cute even if you looks the ugliest (in pyjamas and awful specs), will laugh with you when you do the silliest things ever, will give you a hug when you tell him u had a bad day .... i guess that is my definition of Xin Fu.....

Busy day @ work

It's the end of another busy working day, i need to organise 3 brief, 2 to be brief tomorrow morning. I am very glad that the relationship with my colleagues are picking up, a group from another team will always ask me out for lunch. And the ice are melting with the studio folks. It not easy but I will try my best to do a good job and try to build a good rapport with them.

Had a brief chat with one of my good friend and she was talking an opportunity to thrive out in China, Beijing. I am very very tempted too, hmmm.. I am still young, I really want to go see the world. Just for a yr or 2 will be good, to widen my horizons. My views and perspective are still pretty shallow, it would be good to go out and just try...... no harm rite, i am stil getting paid hahaha... sigh... anyway wish my good fren all the best, I really wish she can go. ahhaha for selfish reason, then she can pull me along mah ..... hee hee....

I just watch 3 Rain clips my best fren sent today, he is just so cute isn't it... hahah my boyfriend likes him too.. ..

A Peaceful Sunday

It's a peaceful morning, the view outside my study is simply fantastic, I can see lots of greens and a lovely flyover. Yesterday i went to buy my food collectibles again, sigh, spend $70+ on it... now my room has turned into a mini food display gallery ... I got the new ice-cream collection from Mega house, it is just too lovely, got a Hagen Daaz lookalike for my good friend, she likes to eat ice- cream so i hope she will like it... hahah Oh talking about ice-cream, there is a lovely shop at Shaw tower- Beach road, named Tom's Palate. They made their own ice-creams and the flavours are very unique - they have apple pie, chrysanthemum, longgan and red dates, wasabi lime, horlicks, hazelnuts, blueberry cheesecake, summer berry and rum & rasin. They told me they will try to change the flavours, i think is once a month or something. The wasabi-lime flavour has a very acquired taste, you will be able to taste a tint of wasabi before the lime takes over. It's unlike those we ate with sushi, the wasabi taste is not overpowering and it does not spicy.

Relax............... it a sunday morning............

Inconsiderate Neighbours

Government has been ecouraging neighbours to be friendly and helpful. Does that really works? I can tell you it's NO....;I have super inconsiderate people living in my neighbour. This morning, i found dog poop at my corridor. I am so upset, this is not the first time something like had happen. Few weeks ago, my national flag was stolen, my mum found spit on the door, sometimes we get pee and HUMAN stool. So tell me, how does that equate to "Friendly and Helpful". I called the town council / HDB (i forgot) once, and guess wha they told me? "Sorry, there is nothing we can do, we are sorry that this thing happened. You should to the police, if you know who is the culprit....; I seriously wonder if they brought their brains to work, IF i had evidence, would i go the police or them??? Hmm that is really a tough question......Sigh, just sent a letter to the Town Council, I hope i will get some sensible and constructive feedbacks this time round....
